Three Suspects Arrested in San Francisco Narcotics Trafficking Operation

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Police in San Francisco have announced the arrest of three individuals involved in trafficking narcotics into the city’s Tenderloin neighborhood after a comprehensive three-month investigation.

The San Francisco Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, in collaboration with the California Army National Guard, conducted a thorough investigation that led to the identification of three suspects believed to be trafficking a significant quantity of narcotics into the Tenderloin district. The suspects have been named as Luis Velasquez (34), Marvin Licona (33), and Patricia Cruz-Ramirez (21).

Following surveillance of the suspects, law enforcement officers stopped their vehicle on the 900 block of Laguna Street. A K-9 officer discovered over 500 grams of suspected fentanyl and a substantial amount of U.S. currency in the vehicle, which was subsequently seized by the authorities.

Further investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at the suspects’ residence in Oakland, where additional U.S. currency and evidence of narcotics trafficking were found. In total, more than $70,000 in U.S. currency and over 500 grams of suspected fentanyl were seized during the operation.
