Tragic Suicide of a 13-Year-Old Boy in Bhiwandi

Mumbai: In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 13-year-old boy has tragically died by suicide in Bhiwandi town, located approximately 36 km away from Mumbai. The police have revealed that the boy’s parents believe he took this extreme step due to facing bullying at school. The incident took place in the Madhav Nagar area on a fateful Wednesday evening.

Young Sajid S, a sixth-standard student at a local Madrassa school, confided in his parents about the bullying he was enduring at the hands of some boys. His parents were devastated to discover him hanging in his room later that day. The police have registered a case of accidental death and sent the boy’s body for autopsy. However, the exact reason behind his decision to take his own life is yet to be determined, and investigations are currently underway.

Sad Demise of a B.Pharm Student in Thane

On a sorrowful Tuesday evening, a 24-year-old B.Pharm student was reported to have died by suicide in MHADA Colony, Vasant Vihar, Thane. Sources from the police department revealed that the young man had hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his residence. Tragically, he was the son of a woman police constable associated with the Thane police Commissionerate.

The incident unfolded late in the evening while the student was alone at home. Upon his parents’ return around 8 pm, they were met with the harrowing sight of their son hanging. Rushed to a nearby hospital, the young man was declared dead upon arrival. The Chitalsar police station officials conducted the necessary procedures, filing an accidental death report (ADR) in connection with the tragedy.

An investigating officer stated, “Further probe is essential, including scrutinising his mobile phone and other details, to uncover the reasons driving him to such a tragic decision.”
