An altercation over a car not being returned on time led to a tragic shooting that resulted in the death of a man and injuries to six others in Orlando’s Rosemont community. The incident took place late Wednesday night near Iron Wedge Drive and South Lake.

Victim identified as James Jerry Dawn William III
The man who tragically lost his life in the shooting has been identified as James Jerry Dawn William III, aged 21. Reports indicate that the six individuals who sustained injuries during the altercation are currently in stable condition and are expected to recover.
Second Police Response to the Scene
This was not the first time that law enforcement had been called to the location. Earlier in the day, police were summoned around 3 p.m. due to a confrontation involving the same group of individuals. The incident escalated later in the evening, resulting in the fatal shooting.
