Taxila: Man Found Tortured in Wheat Fields

Located near Taxila, the town of Gulshan-i-Sehat was the site of a gruesome discovery in the early hours of Wednesday. A man in his 20s, identified as Hafiz Muhammad Arsalan from Panjgur Balochistan, was found dead in the wheat fields with signs of torture on eight different parts of his body. His uncle, Fida Ahmed, reported to the police that Arsalan had joined a Tableegh team and had gone to Peshawar before meeting his tragic fate.

Police Investigation and Arrests

The police swiftly responded to the incident, registering a case and launching an investigation into the brutal murder. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of kites and string rolls from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab. Several suspects were arrested, including Nazim ud Din at the Chach interchange, as well as Sumair and Rehan in Taxila.

Furthermore, law enforcement cracked down on illegal gambling activities in Fatehjang and Hassanabdal, resulting in the arrest of 13 individuals and the seizure of gambling tools and bet money. The police conducted raids on gambling dens, ensuring that those involved faced the consequences of their actions.

Burglary Cases in Wah Cantonment

Adding to the string of criminal activities, burglars targeted two homes in the Lalarukh area of Wah Cantonment. Residents reported significant losses in cash and gold ornaments, amounting to millions of rupees. The police initiated investigations into the burglaries, aiming to apprehend the perpetrators and recover the stolen valuables.
