Tragic Shooting Incident at Frome Bar Leaves Three Dead

Seven individuals were shot at a bar in the quiet community of Frome in Westmoreland, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. Among the victims, three tragically lost their lives in the senseless act of violence.

The deceased have been identified as Everol Rowe, a well-respected shop owner and broom maker in the area, Kemar Smith, also known as ‘Beenie Bud,’ and Andre McDonald, all from Westmoreland.

The harrowing incident unfolded in the early hours of the morning, around 12:50 a.m., as the three now-deceased men were socializing with other patrons at the local bar. Suddenly, a white Toyota Axio pulled up outside, and two armed men emerged from the vehicle, unleashing a barrage of gunfire on the unsuspecting group.

In the chaotic aftermath, the patrons scattered in fear, trying to seek safety in different directions. However, the damage had already been done. Rowe was found outside the bar with gunshot wounds to his upper body, Smith lay on the floor inside the bar with similar injuries, and McDonald was discovered in a pool of blood with fatal gunshot wounds to his head and upper body.

Sadly, the other four victims also sustained gunshot wounds and were rushed to the Savanna-la-mar Public General Hospital for urgent medical attention. Tragically, McDonald and Smith were pronounced dead upon arrival, while Rowe succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The remaining victims are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

This heinous act of violence has sent shockwaves through the community of Frome, leaving residents in disbelief and mourning the loss of three beloved individuals. The police are actively investigating the incident and appealing to anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
