Tragic Suicide of 20-Year-Old Student in Hyderabad

Student

A heart-wrenching incident has shaken the city of Hyderabad as a 20-year-old BTech student, identified as Manoj Kumar, tragically ended his life on Monday evening. The young student, who was studying at the Dundigal Aeronautical College, took this extreme step after allegedly facing harassment from loan app executives.

Initial investigations have revealed that Manoj had resorted to borrowing money from friends and fellow students in his college to fund his online gaming addiction. Unfortunately, he faced financial difficulties and was unable to repay the borrowed money, leading to mounting pressure and harassment from the loan app agents.

It is reported that the agents even went to the extent of contacting Manoj’s parents to demand the repayment of the outstanding dues. In a bid to escape the overwhelming burden of debt and harassment, Manoj chose to end his life, leaving his family and friends in shock and grief.

However, the investigation is ongoing to determine the extent of Manoj’s involvement with loan apps and the online games that contributed to his financial troubles.

The local authorities at Gudimalkapur police station have registered a case under Section 174 CrpC in connection with the tragic suicide of the young student. The investigation is expected to shed light on the circumstances that led to this devastating outcome.
