Sophie-Lee Fullagar, 24, identified as one of four victims in Wardell ute crash

Sophie-Lee Fullagar, a 24-year-old woman, has been tragically identified as one of the four individuals who lost their lives in a devastating ute crash that occurred in Wardell last Saturday morning. The incident claimed the lives of a male driver, a male passenger, and another female passenger, along with Sophie-Lee.

The fatal accident took place when the blue Mazda BT50 utility veered off Back Channel Rd in Wardell and rolled over shortly after 5:45am. Sophie-Lee and the other victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash.

Sophie-Lee Fullagar, who was a local resident of the Northern Rivers area, has been fondly remembered and honoured by the community through heartfelt tributes. She was described as having spent a significant part of her childhood in Main Arm and was deeply connected to the region.

One Facebook user expressed their condolences, stating, “There was a tragic car accident at Wardell last weekend that claimed four lives. One of them was 24-year-old Sophie-Lee Fullagar. Sophie spent a good part of her childhood in Main Arm, and her family is well-loved in the area.”
