Tulsa Police Investigate Homicide in North Tulsa
In a tragic incident, Tulsa Police are currently investigating a homicide after discovering the body of 40-year-old Jeremy Wilkes in north Tulsa. Wilkes was found dead from a gunshot wound in his neighbor’s yard near the intersection of Pine and Yale.

Discovery of the Victim
FOX23 reporters were on the scene when police arrived to find Wilkes lying in his neighbour’s yard. The authorities were called to North Canton near Pine and Yale early Wednesday morning after receiving reports of an unresponsive man in distress. Upon arrival, they found Wilkes with a fatal gunshot wound under his left arm.
Eye-witness Accounts
Witnesses in the area reported hearing a man calling for help around midnight. Following the sound, police conducted a search and discovered evidence suggesting that Wilkes had come from a nearby house. Further investigation led the officers to uncover additional evidence related to the crime.
