A 26-year-old woman, Elaysha Gilliam, was found dead in a field in the 3600 block of Oakley in Kansas City, Missouri, on Feb. 19. Initially considered a suspicious death, the Kansas City Police Department is now investigating the incident as a homicide.

Details of the Incident

Just before midnight, the KCPD responded to a report of a dead body in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of a woman with unknown bodily trauma. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
