Man Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting Near Mardi Gras Parade in Trinity Gardens

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Authorities have made an arrest in connection with a tragic shooting incident that took place on February 17 near a Mardi Gras parade in the Trinity Gardens community. The incident resulted in one fatality and left two others injured.

The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Trenton Todd, was taken into custody following an investigation by the Mobile Police Department. Todd has been charged with murder in relation to the shooting.

According to authorities, the victim who tragically lost his life in the incident has been identified as 20-year-old Laguy Miller. The shooting took place during the bustling Mardi Gras parade, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
