Tejashwi Yadav’s Convoy Involved in Fatal Accident in Belauri, Bihar

In a tragic accident in Belauri on the Katihar-Purnea road in Bihar, a car carrying former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was involved in a collision that resulted in the death of at least one person. The incident also left half a dozen police personnel injured.
Reports indicate that the driver of the police vehicle escorting Tejashwi Yadav lost his life in the collision. The deceased driver has been identified as Mohd Haleem.

The injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Purnea.
Police Statement and Investigation
Purnea SP Upendra Nath Verma visited GMCH to assess the situation and provide updates. “One of our escort cars was involved in an accident under the Mufassil police station area in Purnea, Bihar. The driver of the car tragically passed away at the scene, while the remaining six police officials sustained injuries and are being treated at GMCH Hospital. Further investigation into the incident is currently ongoing,” stated the police official. However, he refrained from commenting on whether Tejashwi Yadav was present in the convoy at the time of the accident.
