Tragic UTV Crash Claims the Life of a Man in Mill Creek Township, Lycoming County
MILL CREEK TOWNSHIP, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Tragedy struck in Mill Creek Township as state police reported a fatal accident involving a utility task vehicle (UTV). The incident occurred in the vicinity of Burns Road near Firetower Road, Mill Creek Township, at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Details of the Accident
State troopers revealed that 44-year-old John Irion was the driver of the UTV that met with the unfortunate fate. Irion lost control of the vehicle, veering off the shoulder of the road before colliding with a ditch. In a desperate attempt to rejoin the roadway, the UTV crossed over and crashed into another ditch on the opposite side.
As a result of the impact, the UTV overturned, causing Irion to be partially ejected from the vehicle. Despite the efforts of first responders, Irion succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash.
