The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect involved in a fatal stabbing that occurred on Feb. 24 at the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Bladensburg Road, NE.
Details of the Incident
On the evening of February 24, tragedy struck at the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Bladensburg Road, NE, where a fatal stabbing took place. The area, usually bustling with activity, was transformed into a crime scene as the events unfolded.
MPD documents state that officers swiftly responded to the report of a stabbing at this location. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with a severe stab wound. Despite efforts to save him, the victim, identified as 53-year-old Christopher King, tragically lost his life at a local hospital.
Suspect Identification
