Man Killed, Another Injured in Shooting Incident in Northeast Washington, D.C.

On February 23, a tragic incident unfolded on the 6200 block of Dix Street, NE, in Washington, D.C., as the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to a report of gunshots in the area. The incident resulted in the death of one man and left another injured.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 35-year-old man named Ronald Clark who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Clark succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Simultaneously, additional officers were dispatched to the 300 block of 63rd Street, NE, where they found another man suffering from gunshot wounds. The injured individual was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

MPD Investigation and Rewards

The MPD is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident and is seeking any information that could lead to the apprehension and conviction of the perpetrator(s) responsible for the violent crime in the District.
