Two Killed in Motorcycle Accident Involving Forest Officer in Umaria District
Bhopal: In a tragic incident, two individuals lost their lives after their motorcycle was struck by a car driven by a forest officer in Umaria district on Saturday evening. The accident occurred at the Kuchwahi trisection under the jurisdiction of the Manpur police station.
The deceased have been identified as Prem Bai, aged 40, and Lavkesh Singh, aged 35. Prem Bai succumbed to her injuries on the spot, while Lavkesh passed away during the course of treatment.

The vehicle involved in the accident belonged to the MP Rajya Laghu Vanopaj (Vyapar Evam Vikas) Shahkari Sangh Maryadit and was affiliated with the forest department. The driver responsible for the collision has been named as Kanwaljeet Singh Uppal, aged 32, the son of Bhupendra Singh Uppal. While the vehicle was registered under the officer’s name, Kanwaljeet was behind the wheel at the time of the tragic incident. He has been charged under section 304 A by the Manpur police station.
