Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Six Labourers in Jaunpur

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a tragic accident occurred in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, claiming the lives of six labourers. The incident took place near the bustling Samadhganj market in the Sikrara police station area around 11:30 pm on Sunday.

According to the police, an Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus travelling from Prayagraj to Deoria collided with a tractor carrying 12 labourers. The impact of the collision was devastating, resulting in the untimely deaths of six individuals.

Victims identified

The victims of this tragic accident have been identified as Neeraj Saroj (28), Rajesh Saroj (45), Sangram Vishwakarma (25), C Mushar (20), Govind Bind (30), and Atul Saroj (30). All of them were residents of Alishahpur village in Jaunpur.

Investigation Underway

Following the incident, the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination. Both the bus and the tractor involved in the collision have been impounded as part of the ongoing investigation.
