Valley Center Resident Arrested After Shooting on Rincon Indian Reservation
Last week, residents of inland North County were shocked by a shooting incident on the Rincon Indian Reservation, which led to the arrest of a local man. The San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies provided details of the incident on Monday.

Details of the Shooting
Lt. Joseph Jarjura from the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit reported that deputies were called to the 7500 block of Mendoza Road on Friday afternoon around 1:00 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a 46-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
Arrest of Kyle Del Gregory
During their investigation, deputies found a rifle at the scene and detained a 31-year-old Valley Center resident identified as Kyle Del Gregory. Del Gregory was subsequently arrested and taken to the Vista Detention Facility, where he is currently being held without bail. He is facing multiple felony charges, including attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
