Police Respond to Shots Fired Incident in Vicksburg

The Vicksburg Police Department has reported an incident involving shots fired in the 1500 block of Ethel Street. The incident occurred on Thursday, February 15, 2024, prompting a swift response from law enforcement officers.
Suspects identified and Charges Filed
During the investigation, two individuals were identified as the suspects involved in the shooting. Avante DeAnthony Wilson, 19, and Tyreese Carter, 20, were allegedly seen firing shots at another individual in the area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
