Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Teacher Brutally Murdered in Her Home

Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking incident unfolded in Dhar’s Krishna Colony on Sunday night as a 38-year-old female teacher, Aarti Makhwana, was brutally murdered in her own home. The gruesome discovery was made by her son and nephew, who arrived back home around 10 pm to a scene of horror. Aarti had been viciously stabbed multiple times in the neck with a sharp weapon, her hands tied, indicating a violent struggle.

The victim’s husband, Ravi Makwana, who works in Kuwait, was not present during the time of the crime. Aarti, who lived with her nine-year-old son Teerth, was alone in their rented house when the tragedy occurred between 9 and 10 pm.

Prior to the incident, Aarti had contacted her nephew Kartik at 8:52 pm, seeking help to take her son to the market. Kartik, accompanied by his friends Daksh and Dev, left the house at around 9:15 pm and returned approximately 40 minutes later. It was Teerth who first discovered his mother’s lifeless body, followed by Kartik and his friends.

Initial investigations suggest that the perpetrator may have initially used a steel bottle to render Aarti unconscious before tying her hands and inflicting fatal stab wounds to her neck. SP Manoj Kumar Singh has confirmed the registration of a murder case and the deployment of investigation teams to track down the culprit. Four police teams have been assembled for this purpose.

Investigation Teams

The first team is currently reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area, while the second team is delving into any potential cyber-related details. The third team is focused on understanding the family dynamics and events leading up to the crime, while the fourth team is monitoring potential suspects and coordinating with the first and second teams.
