Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A tragic incident unfolded in Nashik on Saturday morning when a young woman lost her life in a road accident. Vinita Ramchandra Kuyte (27), a resident of Makhamalabad Road, was riding her scooter on the Mumbai-Agra highway when she was hit by a garbage truck in the Panchavati area of the city.

According to reports, the garbage truck was travelling very close to Kuyte’s vehicle when the driver attempted to turn towards a service road to enter a petrol pump. Unfortunately, during the turn, the rear tyre of the truck ran over the woman, resulting in her immediate death.

The driver of the truck, realizing the gravity of the situation, headed to the Adgaon police station to report the accident. Upon arrival, the police took swift action and arrested the driver for causing death due to negligence.

Kuyte’s untimely demise has left her family shattered. She is survived by her parents and a brother. This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers that lurk on the roads, especially for two-wheeler riders.

Nashik, like many other cities in India, witnesses a high number of road accidents each year. Approximately 170 to 180 people lose their lives in road mishaps in Nashik annually, with two-wheeler riders bearing the brunt of these accidents.
