Wall Collapse Tragedy Strikes Film City’s Gate No. 2 in Goregaon

On a fateful Saturday evening, tragedy struck near Film City’s gate no. 2 at Goregaon’s Aarey Colony road, claiming the lives of two individuals and leaving one injured. The incident, which occurred at around 6.30 pm, involved the collapse of a ’60-feet-long and 20-feet high walls’ near the Film City’s second gate, behind the Prime Fox production, crushing six people beneath its weight.

According to the BMC, the wall collapse took place suddenly, trapping six individuals underneath the debris. Fortunately, three of them were rescued before the fire brigade arrived at the scene. However, the two men who were taken to the HBT hospital succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead. The deceased have been identified as Sintu Mandal (32) and Jaidev Prahlad Biswas (45), while the injured person has been named as Vikram Mandal (29).
