Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Delhi Police have successfully apprehended a gang of four men who had been posing as deaf and mute individuals or orphans/students and committing thefts across the city for over a year. The accused, identified as P Sathyavelu (22), Shiva (22), Kumar (24), and Prabhu (24), hail from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

The modus operandi of the gang involved traveling from Tamil Nadu to Delhi by train, where they would target paying guest accommodations (PGs) in densely populated areas that house students. Taking advantage of distracted moments, the accused would enter unlocked rooms and steal valuables, leaving their own phones behind to avoid being traced. After a brief stay in the city, they would return to Tamil Nadu and sell the stolen electronics.

The gang’s activities came to light after multiple complaints of burglary and thefts at students’ PGs were reported to the police. Following an investigation, it was discovered that a group of individuals was behind the crimes. Acting on a tip-off, a team led by inspector Dheeraj Mahlawat raided Press Enclave Road near the Malviya Nagar bus stand and apprehended the four men.

Upon questioning, the suspects pretended to be deaf and mute, communicating only through gestures. They even presented a letter detailing charitable donations supposedly received from various individuals. A search of their belongings revealed three mobile phones and two laptops, all confirmed to be stolen items.

The gang primarily operated in the early mornings, targeting houses near educational institutions. Deputy commissioner of police (south) Ankit Chauhan commended the swift action taken by the police in apprehending the culprits and urged residents to remain vigilant and secure their accommodations to prevent such incidents in the future..

Introducing EthicWear: The Sustainable Fashion Revolution

In a world where fast fashion dominates the market, one brand is setting out to make a difference. EthicWear, a new eco-friendly clothing line, is launching this month with a mission to revolutionize the fashion industry by promoting sustainability and ethical practices.

The brainchild of fashion entrepreneur Sarah Johnson, EthicWear is a response to the growing demand for environmentally conscious and socially responsible clothing options. Johnson, who has a background in sustainable fashion design, saw a gap in the market for stylish and affordable eco-friendly clothing and decided to take matters into her own hands.

“I wanted to create a brand that not only looks good but does good as well,” Johnson said. “With EthicWear, we are dedicated to using sustainable materials, ethical production methods, and transparent supply chains to create clothing that not only looks great but also feels great to wear.”

The EthicWear collection features a range of timeless and versatile pieces, including organic cotton t-shirts, bamboo fiber leggings, and recycled polyester jackets. Each garment is designed with longevity in mind, using high-quality materials and construction techniques to ensure durability and longevity.

But sustainability is not the only focus of EthicWear. The brand is also committed to supporting local communities and promoting fair labor practices. All of EthicWear’s clothing is ethically produced in factories that adhere to strict labor standards, ensuring that workers are paid fair wages and provided with safe working conditions.

In addition to its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, EthicWear is also dedicated to transparency. Customers can easily trace the origins of their clothing, from the raw materials used to the production process, through the brand’s website.

“We believe that transparency is key to building trust with our customers,” Johnson explained. “By being open and honest about our practices, we hope to inspire others in the industry to take a more sustainable and ethical approach to fashion.”

EthicWear officially launches next week, with its collection available for purchase on its website and select retailers. With its unique combination of style, sustainability, and social responsibility, EthicWear is poised to lead the way in the sustainable fashion revolution.
