School Teacher Arrested for Allegedly Thrashing Student in Rajasthan

A school teacher in Rajasthan’s Kota district has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a five-year-old student and dislocating her arm. The incident occurred at Khera Rasulpur government senior secondary school, where the young girl is enrolled in Class 1. Following a complaint from the victim’s father, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

The accused teacher, identified as Mohammed Sattar, was taken into custody on Saturday evening and is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday. According to a police official, the girl’s father lodged a complaint against Sattar for causing his daughter’s arm to become dislocated.

Circle Officer (Kota Rural) Gagendra Singh and Circle Inspector Harlal Meena of Kaithun police station revealed that Sattar allegedly physically assaulted the girl and forcibly pulled her arm, resulting in the dislocation of her bone.

Legal Action Taken

Police have registered a case against the teacher at the Kaithun police station under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The investigation into the incident is ongoing as authorities work to gather more evidence.
