Details have emerged regarding a tragic incident at Campbellsville University in Kentucky, where authorities are investigating the death of an 18-year-old student. The victim, Josiah Malachi Kilman, was found unresponsive in his dorm room in the early hours of the morning, prompting a swift response from Campbellsville City Police.

Suspect in Custody

Following the discovery of Kilman’s body, police obtained an arrest warrant for murder for 21-year-old Charles E. Escalera. Escalera was apprehended by Kentucky State Police after a call about a suspicious man in a barn on the Green and Taylor County line. He was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Taylor County Detention Center on charges of murder and burglary.
