Today, authorities in Jamalpur’s Sadar upazila made a grim discovery as they recovered the body of a mentally challenged individual in the Shimultala area. The victim, identified as Hamid Miah, 48, hailed from Hadia Kariata village in Tangail.

Local residents stumbled upon Hamid’s lifeless body near the Shimultala intersection and promptly alerted the police around midday. Mahabbat Kabir, the officer-in-charge of Jamalpur Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident and stated that the body displayed visible signs of injury.
