About the Ohio Plane Crash Victims

The victims have been identified as Daniel Baker, a 44-year-old pilot from Jackson, his father Robert Daniel Baker (also known as Dan Baker), 78, of Lucasville, and their close friend Zebulon Logan, 45, from Lucasville. They were on their way to Florida to pick up a vehicle that Logan had recently purchased.

Details of the Ohio Plane Crash
The small plane, a Piper PA 32 Cherokee Six, crashed shortly after takeoff in a field just a quarter-mile north of the James A. Rhodes Airport. The Jackson Fire Department responded to the scene, where the aircraft was found burning. Unfortunately, all three occupants were pronounced dead at the site of the crash.
