Convicted Felon Sentenced to Over 50 Years for Pimping Out Women in Moreno Valley
A convicted felon who pimped out a 19-year-old woman in Moreno Valley, assaulted other women who refused to work for him and tried to persuade an undercover investigator to join his crew was sentenced to more than five decades in prison on Friday, Feb. 23.
Christian Scott Meeks, 35, of Moreno Valley, was convicted by a Riverside jury in November on multiple charges, including procuring a person for the purpose of prostitution, assault resulting in great bodily injury, witness intimidation, attempted pandering and pimping.
He was sentenced to 56 years and 8 months in state prison on Friday.
Investigation and Arrest
The investigation into Meeks began in January 2020 after sheriff’s patrol deputies responded to a disturbance at the Travel Inn on Sunnymead Boulevard in Moreno Valley. They discovered a young woman, identified as “M.S.,” who no longer wanted to work as a prostitute and was under the defendant’s control.

Items found in the room, including condoms, pepper spray and a notebook with “house rules,” indicated the extent of Meeks’ control over the women he exploited.
Control and Violence
Meeks used physical threats to keep the young woman under his control, as revealed by the Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force. The women were coerced into providing sexual services to clients arranged by Meeks, with all earnings going to him.
Violence erupted when women refused to comply with Meeks’ demands. One woman, identified as “J.L.,” was brutally beaten by Meeks after turning down his offer to work for him as a call girl.
Previous Criminal History
Meeks, also known as “Active,” has prior convictions for grand theft and attempted robbery. His history of criminal behaviour underscores the seriousness of his offences in the recent case.
Overall, Meeks’ exploitation of vulnerable women for financial gain and his use of violence to maintain control over them led to his lengthy prison sentence.
