Accident – Death – Obituary News : Unidentified assailants brutally attacked and killed a 17-year-old teenager named Chayan Das as he was returning home from visiting his injured friends at Jashore General Hospital in the early hours of the morning. The tragic incident took place at Shantla village, which is located in the Sadar upazila of Jashore district.

Chayan, who hailed from Churamankati Daspara village, had gone to the hospital with his friends to offer support to those who had been attacked by a group of teenagers in Mallikpur village of Jhikargachha upazila. However, on his way back home around 1:30 am, he was ambushed by a group of 15-20 individuals who mercilessly beat and stabbed him with sharp weapons.

Local residents intervened and rushed Chayan to Jashore General Hospital, but tragically, the doctors could not save his life. Upon examination, it was revealed that Chayan had suffered severe injuries, including broken bones and stab wounds, leading to excessive bleeding and ultimately, his untimely demise.

The family members of the deceased teenager are devastated by the loss and are demanding justice for Chayan. They have called for the swift apprehension and prosecution of the perpetrators responsible for his senseless murder. Dr. Parthapratim Chakraborty, an emergency department physician at Jashore General Hospital, confirmed the extent of Chayan’s injuries and the cause of death.
