Tragic Incident in Faisalabad: Minor Girl Allegedly Tortured to Death

TOBA TEK SINGH: In a heartbreaking incident in Nemat Colony No 2 locality of Faisalabad, a minor girl employed as a domestic help was allegedly tortured to death by her employer and his two sisters. The victim, identified as Ayesha Bibi (11), had been working at the house of Fazalur Rehman for the past four months.

According to the FIR registered under sections 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), the complainant, Ghulam Murtaza of Chak 229-RB, Makkuana, revealed that his daughter was initially fine when his wife had visited her at the employer’s house a month ago. However, on February 23, Rehman informed Murtaza that Ayesha had been admitted to the district headquarters hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Upon seeing his daughter’s body at the hospital, Murtaza noticed multiple torture marks, alleging that Rehman and his sisters, Sunila Bibi and Rahila Bibi, had brutally tortured Ayesha, leading to her tragic demise.

The suspects have been arrested by the police, and an investigation is underway. City Police Officer (CPO) retired Capt Muhammad Ali Zia has ordered a thorough inquiry into the matter to bring the culprits to justice.

Additional Incidents Reported in Faisalabad

SHOT DEAD: Another tragic incident occurred near Chak 204 RB, Faisalabad, where a young car driver named Zain (17) was shot dead by two unidentified assailants at Rakh Branch Canal bridge. The incident resulted in Zain losing control of the car, which collided with a biker named Azam (40), causing injuries to both individuals.

BUS ATTACKED: In a separate incident near Chak 338-JB, Gojra, a group of more than two dozen people attacked and damaged a bus belonging to a textile mill. The attackers, led by Iftikhar Ahmed, caused extensive damage to the vehicle and assaulted the driver before fleeing the scene.

GIRL ABDUCTED: Five individuals allegedly abducted an 18-year-old girl named Shabbana Bibi from Chak 97-JB, Gojra. The perpetrators, including Usama and his accomplices, forcibly took the girl from her home at gunpoint.

BOY DIES: Tragedy struck near Chak 70-JB, Mansooran, on Jhang Road, Faisalabad, as a child lost his life in a road accident involving a tractor-trolley. Ghulam Murtaza of Shahpur, Gojra, was riding a motorcycle with his family when the unfortunate incident occurred, resulting in the death of their four-year-old son, Qasim.

These incidents highlight the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in society. Authorities must take swift action to prevent such tragedies and hold those responsible accountable.
