Man Arrested in Connection with Northeast Homicide in Washington

The Metropolitan Police Department in Washington has made an arrest in connection with a homicide in Northeast. The incident took place on Friday, February 23, at around 11:20 a.m. when police responded to a report of an unconscious person at the Ivy City Hotel on the 1600 block of New York Avenue.

Upon arriving at the scene, authorities discovered a woman inside a hotel room who had sustained injuries indicating foul play. Tragically, the victim, identified as 36-year-old Romaine Maddox from Northeast, D.C., was pronounced dead on site.

Suspect Identified and Arrested
