Accident – Death – Obituary News : The body of a 26-year-old man was found hanging in a hotel room at Exhibition road under Gandhi Maidan police station area in the state capital on Friday. The deceased was identified as Vishal Thakur (26), a resident of Husena village in Siswan sub-division of Siwan district.

The incident came to light when the police broke opened the room’s lock, and found his body hanging from the ceiling fan. According to police, Vishal had booked the hotel room on Thursday.

The hotel staff knocked at the door to clean his room on Friday morning, but received no response from inside. He then informed the hotel manager, who became suspicious and informed the Dial-112 police team.

“The postmortem was conducted at PMCH, and the body was handed over to his family,” SHO Sita Ram Prasad said.
