Amtrak Train Collision in Indiantown Leaves Three Unharmed

INDIANTOWN — A dramatic incident unfolded in Indiantown as three individuals, including a child, narrowly escaped harm in a collision involving their vehicle and an Amtrak train on Saturday afternoon. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office reported that the accident took place after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Amarylis Avenue and Warfield Boulevard.

According to a Facebook post by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are currently at the scene, and motorists should anticipate traffic delays in the vicinity as a result of the collision.

A vehicle with three occupants, including a child, collided with an Amtrak train in Indiantown on Saturday.

At the time of the Facebook post, the vehicle was still situated on the tracks. Fortunately, all three occupants managed to exit the vehicle before the train’s impact.
