Woman Found Dead Near Agriculture Institute in Manikganj
Yesterday, authorities discovered the lifeless body of a woman near the boundary wall of the Agriculture Institute in Dotora village, located in the Saturia upazila of Manikganj. The victim has been identified as Sharmin Akter, a 30-year-old woman who was the daughter of Abdul Mannan, according to Safiqul Islam Molla, the officer-in-charge of the Saturia Police Station.

Despite being married, Sharmin had been residing with her father at the time of her tragic demise. The police were alerted to the situation by concerned locals and recovered her body around 12:30 pm. Subsequently, the body was transferred to the morgue of the Manikganj 250-bed General Hospital for further examination through an autopsy.
Evidence of Foul Play
Upon closer inspection of the body, authorities noticed visible injury marks on Sharmin’s neck that appeared to have been inflicted by a sharp weapon. As a result, they suspect that her death may have been the result of a domestic dispute.
