Man Found Dead on Fresno Sidewalk identified as Dominic Greco of Clovis

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit has identified the man found dead on a sidewalk in Fresno on Sunday as 37-year-old Dominic Greco from Clovis.

The discovery of Greco’s body took place on Feb. 18 around 4:30 p.m. when EMS personnel responded to a report of an injured individual along the side of the street near Chestnut and Harvard Avenues in Fresno. Upon arrival, medics unfortunately found Greco deceased.

Initial assessments of Greco’s injuries raised suspicions as they were deemed inconsistent with a natural death. Subsequently, EMS contacted the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, leading to the dispatch of deputies and homicide detectives to the scene. Following thorough investigations, detectives confirmed the nature of Greco’s death as a homicide.

Authorities are now appealing to businesses in the vicinity with video surveillance footage capturing the streets between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the day of the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
