Pavlo Padilla, 45, of Victorville, was behind the wheel of a black 2016 Chevrolet Suburban, traveling northbound on Mariposa Road. Tragically, Padilla drifted into the path of oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with a southbound blue 2005 Toyota Corolla driven by Pedro Valencia-Perez, 58, of Barstow.
The impact of the collision claimed the lives of Pedro Valencia-Perez and Jose Valencia-Saucedo, 22, of Barstow, who was a passenger in the Toyota. Additionally, another passenger, Rosa Saucedo-Negrete, 59, of Barstow, succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.

Francisco Valencia-Saucedo, 21, also a passenger in the Toyota, was left hospitalized with serious injuries following the tragic accident.
