Ashley Beauclair : Body Found in Blue Town Community: Foul Play Confirmed

BLUE TOWN, La. (WNTZ) – In a small, close-knit community in Blue Town, located just north of Marksville, La., a tragic discovery was made on Sunday, October 22, 2023. At around 1810 hours, the Avoyelles 911 Communication Center received a distressing report of a body found in a wooded area near a field.

The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO) swiftly responded to the scene and located the body of an unknown female. The peaceful surroundings of the Blue Town Community were shattered by this unsettling find, sending shockwaves through the tight-knit neighbourhood.

Following the discovery, the body was taken for a thorough autopsy. The results of the autopsy confirmed the worst fears – the manner of death was determined to be a homicide. Further investigation led to the FACES Lab in Baton Rouge, La., where the body was examined in detail.

Thanks to advanced forensic technology, the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab was able to analyze DNA taken from the body, leading to the positive identification of the victim as 38-year-old Ashley Beauclair from nearby Marksville, La. The news of Ashley’s tragic fate has left the community reeling and searching for answers.
