Man Pleads Guilty in Connection to Triple-Fatal Crash in Anderson Township

Triple-Fatal Crash in Anderson Township

A man has pleaded guilty to multiple charges in connection to a tragic triple-fatal crash that occurred in Anderson Township last April. Andrew Blankenship, aged 30, faced charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular assault in relation to the incident.

The Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that Blankenship entered a guilty plea for all charges brought against him. The fatal crash took place on April 7, at approximately 9:27 p.m., on 275 eastbound near the 5 Mile and New Richmond exits.

According to reports from the scene, a blue Dodge pickup truck was travelling eastbound at a high speed without its lights on. The driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a stopped car that was assisting another disabled vehicle in the right emergency lane. The impact caused a chain reaction, resulting in a tow truck driver being struck outside his vehicle.

Tragically, two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, while another victim passed away at the UC Emergency Room. The deceased were identified as 38-year-old Keith Skaggs, a AAA tow truck driver, 22-year-old Janaya Glover, and 66-year-old Richard Glaser. Additionally, 25-year-old John Glover sustained injuries in the crash.
