Tragic Crash Claims Life of 78-Year-Old Woman in Colorado Springs

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 78-year-old woman lost her life following an auto-pedestrian crash in Colorado Springs. The incident took place on Feb. 1 in the 3000 block of N. Cascade Avenue, a peaceful neighborhood located west of N. Nevada Avenue off E. Fillmore Street.
Details of the Tragic Incident
According to the latest update from the police, two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle at approximately 3:20 p.m. Both pedestrians initially refused medical transport at the scene of the crash. However, one of them later began experiencing severe headaches and was taken to a local hospital by a personal vehicle. Medical professionals determined that the pedestrian had sustained serious, life-threatening injuries.
Tragically, the pedestrian who suffered the head injury succumbed to her injuries on Feb. 6. The coroner’s office identified the victim as 78-year-old Josephine Cameron.

Pending Charges for the Driver
