It was a normal day for Sapna and Sadhna, two sisters from Nai Nagla, Uttar Pradesh, as they were working on the terrace of their home. Little did they know that their lives would take a tragic turn when they were set upon by a group of raging monkeys.

As the monkeys attacked, Sapna and Sadhna found themselves falling into a dry well, their screams for help echoing through the quiet neighbourhood. Locals rushed to their aid, pulling them out of the well and rushing them to the hospital.

Unfortunately, Sapna succumbed to her injuries during treatment, leaving her family and the community in shock. Sadhna, on the other hand, remains in critical condition, fighting for her life.

The incident has once again highlighted the growing issue of monkey attacks in India, with this being just one in a series of tragic events involving these primates. Just a few months ago, a young boy lost his life in a similar attack near a temple in Gujarat.

Authorities have been called upon to take action against the increasing menace of monkeys in the area, with the girls’ father, Shiv Kumar, urging the administration to capture the monkeys before more lives are lost.

While the family mourns the loss of Sapna and prays for Sadhna’s recovery, the community remains on edge, fearful of further attacks by the unruly monkeys that roam the streets of Nai Nagla.

As the authorities investigate the incident and work towards finding a solution to the monkey menace, the residents of Nai Nagla are left grappling with the harsh reality of living in fear of these wild animals.

Monkeys: A Growing Threat in India

The tragic incident in Nai Nagla is just one of many that have occurred in recent months, highlighting the increasing threat posed by monkeys in India. From attacks on children playing near temples to elderly women being targeted in their own homes, the presence of these primates has become a cause for concern.

With each new incident, the call for action against the monkey menace grows louder, as communities across the country demand that authorities take concrete steps to address the problem. Whether it is through increased patrolling, relocation of the animals, or other measures, the need for a solution is more urgent than ever.

As families mourn their loved ones and survivors struggle to recover from their injuries, the question remains: How can we coexist peacefully with these wild creatures without putting human lives at risk?

Only time will tell if the authorities can find a sustainable solution to the monkey problem, but one thing is clear: the residents of Nai Nagla and other affected areas will not rest until their streets are safe once again.
