About Corn Snakes

Corn snakes, native to Florida, are non-venomous reptiles that can grow up to 4 feet in length. Also known as chicken snakes or red rat snakes, they are commonly found in wooded areas, rocky hillsides, meadows, and even abandoned buildings.

According to the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, these snakes play a vital role in maintaining the ecosystem balance in their natural habitats.

Unexpected Wildlife Encounters

While finding a snake on a helicopter may seem like a rare occurrence, wildlife encounters in unexpected places are not unheard of. From urban streets to remote wilderness areas, animals often find their way into human environments, leading to unique and sometimes amusing situations.
