LaGrange Police Investigate Sexual Assault Incident

LAGRANGE, Ga. – In the early hours of February 17, the LaGrange Police Department responded to a distressing report of a sexual assault in the city of LaGrange. A female victim came forward and reported that she had been sexually assaulted by a man, later identified as Laronald Christopher Scott.

The case has since been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Division’s Special Victims Unit. Scott is facing a number of serious charges, including Aggravated Sodomy (FVA), False Imprisonment (FVA), Sexual Battery, Criminal Trespass (FVA), and is also wanted as a Fugitive from Justice. Arrest warrants have been issued for Scott as the investigation continues.
