Dover Woman Arrested for Aggravated Menacing and Terroristic Threatening

A Dover woman, Jennifer Neil, found herself in hot water after an incident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident, which took place on Diemidio Drive in Dover, led to Neil being charged with aggravated menacing and terroristic threatening.

Details of the Incident

At around 1:10 a.m., troopers responded to a call regarding a conflict between neighbors at a residence on Diemidio Drive. The victim informed troopers that Neil had unplugged a power cord he was using and attempted to take it into her house. When the victim tried to stop her, Neil allegedly turned towards him with a pair of scissors raised in a stabbing motion, threatening to kill him.

Fearing for his safety, the victim retreated into his house and called the police. However, Neil was nowhere to be found at her residence, prompting troopers to obtain a warrant for her arrest. It was later discovered that Neil had an active capias for her arrest out of Kent County.

Arrest and Charges

Later that day, troopers located Neil in Milford and placed her under arrest for aggravated menacing and terroristic threatening. She was subsequently issued a $2,500 unsecured bond for the charges but was held at the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a cash bond for her outstanding capias.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully and without resorting to violence. Neil now faces legal consequences for her actions and will have to answer to the charges brought against her.
