Fatal Crash on South Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee Leaves One Dead

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A tragic incident unfolded in the early hours of Monday morning on South Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee, resulting in the loss of one life and leaving another individual injured. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a collision occurred at approximately 5:15 a.m. at the intersection of South Orange Blossom Trail and Ham Brown Road.

Initial findings from traffic homicide investigators indicate that an unidentified adult male was travelling west on South Orange Blossom Trail in a Hyundai Sonata. As he attempted to turn left onto Ham Brown Road, his path intersected with that of a Honda Civic, resulting in a devastating crash between the two vehicles.

The impact caused the Honda Civic to veer off the road and collide with a concrete utility pole, causing serious injuries to the 33-year-old male driver from Brandon, Florida. He was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Tragically, the driver of the Hyundai Sonata succumbed to his injuries after being taken to the hospital.
