Accident – Death – Obituary News : A man and woman have been apprehended by authorities in the United States after a shocking discovery was made involving the remains of two young children. Corena Rose Minjarez, aged 36, was taken into custody on Friday, while her partner, Jesus Dominguez, aged 35, was arrested the following day. The couple was located in Pueblo, Colorado over the weekend, where the disturbing incident unfolded.

The victims have been identified as siblings, five-year-old Jesus Jr. and three-year-old Yesenia Dominguez, who were last seen in the summer of 2018. The young girl’s body was found encased in concrete inside a storage unit, while her brother’s remains were discovered in a suitcase concealed in the trunk of a car at a scrap yard.

It has been confirmed by officers that Dominguez is the father of the two children, although Minjarez is not their biological mother. Sergeant Frank Ortega from the Pueblo Police Department revealed that there had been no trace of the children since they were last seen in July 2018.

The heartbreaking discovery was made when Kings Storage Unit was being cleared out due to unpaid rent on January 20. Inside the storage unit, a metal container filled with concrete was found, containing the remains of young Yesenia. Subsequent investigations led to the recovery of Jesus Jr.’s body in the trunk of a car at a local scrap yard.

Following the arrest of Dominguez, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, and Minjarez at the end of January, a car belonging to Minjarez was located and inspected on February 6. It was in this vehicle that Jesus Jr.’s body was found. DNA testing later confirmed the identities of the deceased children on February 15.

Both Dominguez and Minjarez are facing two counts of murder and two counts of abuse of a corpse. In addition, Dominguez has been charged with theft of government benefits. Minjarez was swiftly apprehended after a warrant was issued for her arrest, while Dominguez was located with the assistance of the local community on Bonforte Blvd.

The couple is currently being held on a $2 million bond, and their court hearings are scheduled for Wednesday, according to court records. The community has been left reeling by this tragic incident, and the investigation is ongoing to uncover the full extent of the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Jesus Jr. and Yesenia Dominguez.
