In a disturbing revelation, prosecutors disclosed that authorities found incriminating evidence on electronic devices belonging to the defendant, including disturbing material related to child sexual abuse.

The victims had no prior acquaintance with the perpetrator before the fateful encounter near Neuschwanstein. Prompt action by law enforcement led to the swift arrest of the suspect shortly after the attack. The trial is ongoing, with a verdict expected to be delivered no earlier than mid-March.
