The Altus Police Department reported that the bodies of Markus Coke, 73, and his wife Catherine Coke, 73, were discovered on Sunday afternoon following a welfare check at their residence in North Altus.

The authorities took immediate action and have since transported the bodies to the Office of the State Medical Examiner in Oklahoma City for autopsies to determine the exact cause of death.
