The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene at 2:41 PM Saturday, following reports of a severe collision.

According to the CHP incident report, the collision involved two vehicles, a gray Honda, and a gray Ford truck.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were dispatched promptly, with initial assessments indicating individuals trapped inside the vehicles.
Eye-Witness Accounts
Eye-witnesses stated that the gray truck was speeding before the collision occurred. The CHP worked alongside the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection to manage the aftermath.
