Man identified in Fatal Dirt Bike Crash in Southwest Oklahoma City

A man who tragically lost his life following a dirt bike crash in southwest Oklahoma City has been identified by his family. The victim, 24-year-old Tyrese Moore, passed away from the injuries he sustained after crashing near 32nd and Western on Friday night, according to his sister Tesa Moore.

Oklahoma City Police are delving into the details of the massive illegal dirt bike operation that led to the fatal crash. The incident involved more than 100 individuals, with reports of reckless driving and speeding through neighborhoods.

Authorities received multiple calls on Friday night about the illegal dirt bike operation, with witnesses reporting bikers running red lights and driving at high speeds. One of the dirt bikes eventually crashed near Southwest 32nd and Western Avenue around 9 p.m., resulting in Tyrese Moore being rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries shortly before 3 a.m. on Saturday morning.

It remains unclear where the group of bikers originated from or how fast they were travelling. However, witnesses attest to the reckless behaviour exhibited by the bikers leading up to the fatal crash.

Thankfully, no other individuals were injured in the incident. However, the community is calling for action to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

Yoselin, who works near the crash scene, expressed concern, stating, “They definitely need to do something about that. Take some responsibility for all this too, their parents.”

Police managed to arrest another biker on Friday night a few blocks away who attempted to confront officers. At this time, it is unknown if the authorities have identified any leads on the remaining individuals involved in the illegal dirt bike operation.
