Two Men in Nagpur End Their Lives Due to Debt Troubles
Nagpur, Feb 18 (PTI) – Two men have tragically taken their own lives by hanging themselves in separate incidents in Nagpur city, reportedly due to overwhelming debt burdens. The local police are currently investigating to determine if the deceased individuals were being harassed by money-lenders.
The two men, identified as Ratnadeep Tirpude, a 31-year-old barber, and Ravindra Gadalkar, a 48-year-old unemployed man, resided in the Sakkardara and Hingna areas of Nagpur, respectively.
According to preliminary investigations, it is believed that Tirpude, who was under immense stress from mounting debts, took his own life in his house on Saturday night. On the other hand, Gadalkar, who was struggling to manage his debts due to being unemployed, was found hanging in the kitchen of his residence on Sunday morning.
The police have registered cases of accidental death in relation to these tragic incidents.
