Tragic Murder of Class 12 Student at Coimbatore Bus Stop

A heartbreaking incident unfolded at a bus stop in Tamil Nadu’s bustling city of Coimbatore, where a young Class 12 student named Pranav met a tragic end. The victim was mercilessly attacked by an 18-year-old college student, leading to a fatal outcome.

Gruesome Attack Caught on CCTV

According to witnesses and police reports, the assailant, armed with a sharp weapon, inflicted more than 10 slash wounds on Pranav in a savage assault. The entire horrifying incident was captured on nearby CCTV cameras, shedding light on the brutal nature of the attack.

Police Investigation and Suspect’s Surrender

Following the heinous act, Singanallur Police swiftly responded, retrieving Pranav’s lifeless body and transporting it to ESI Government Hospital for autopsy. Tragically, a fatal strike to his neck proved to be the cause of his demise.

The suspect, on the other hand, surrendered himself at Sulur Police Station shortly after the attack. Subsequently, he was handed over to Singanallur Police for further interrogation and legal proceedings.

Roots of Enmity and Preplanned Attack

Initial investigations have revealed a troubling history of enmity between the assailant and the victim. It was reported that the attacker had previously engaged in a physical altercation with Pranav over a teasing incident, ultimately culminating in a premeditated plan to take his life.
